IMPACT 1!
At Impact1! we reach out to residents in Chattanooga, regardless of their backgrounds. Our approach is simple: our participants receive faith-based success strategies training coupled with construction skills training, capped off with a celebration in which our graduates receive recognition and certification in the presence of family and friends. Further, Impact1! offers the opportunity for graduates to engage in transitional employment on paid professional construction projects.
The goal of Impact1! is to help participants discover their innate strengths and
capabilities and to help them chart a successful course in life. In addition to hands-on skills training, the construction portion of Impact1! affords a success model:
Plan -> Process -> Teamwork -> Problem Solve -> Successful End Result.
