At the Bethlehem Center, we believe in nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. Our High School Leadership Program is designed to empower young minds, cultivate essential leadership skills, and inspire a passion for making a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
The Bethlehem Leadership Unit (B.L.U.) is our leadership training program for high school students in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. B.L.U. seeks to empower youth with the tools they need to be effective citizens by introducing them to the concept of being a leader who serves and values innovation.
Through a combination of hands-on experiences, mentorship, and engaging workshops, we aim to equip high school students with the tools they need to excel academically, become confident leaders, and embrace their full potential.
Key Components:
Leadership Workshops: Our program includes dynamic leadership workshops led by experienced mentors and community leaders. These workshops cover a wide range of topics, including communication skills, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and goal-setting.
Community Service: We believe in the power of service to transform lives. As part of our program, students actively engage in community service projects that allow them to give back and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
College and Career Readiness: We provide comprehensive support to help students plan for their future. From college exploration to resume building and interview preparation, we ensure our students are well-prepared for the next steps in their academic and professional journeys.
Personal Development: Our High School Leadership Program fosters personal growth and resilience. Through activities that promote self-awareness, confidence-building, and emotional intelligence, students develop a strong sense of self and the ability to navigate life's challenges with grace.
Mentorship: Each student in our program is paired with a dedicated mentor who serves as a trusted guide and role model. Our mentors offer guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support, empowering students to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.
