The PSI Community Counseling Program offers low-fee services for families and individuals who cannot afford the traditional cost of counseling and do not have adequate insurance to cover mental health services. We work with individuals, couples, and families, in addition to offering workshops and/or ongoing therapy groups out in the community as requested. Services are offered at the following location:

What is counseling?
Individuals and families often face difficulties related to a past hurt or current life problem. The purpose of counseling is to resolve the presenting problem to promote personal growth and positive change.
How long does counseling last?
Each counseling session lasts approximately 50 minutes. After five or six weekly sessions, the client and his//her counselor will work together to determine if additional counseling is needed and what its duration and frequency should be.
How much does it cost?
Clients are charged a maximum fee of $20 for each counseling session. For those with special financial concerns, a lesser fee may be available.
Will my privacy be protected?
Yes, communication between a client and his/her counselor is confidential. Records are protected in accordance with state and federal privacy and medical laws.
What if I don't have transportation or childcare?
If these are issues that might prevent you from coming to counseling, we would be happy to talk with you to identify appropriate resources to help.
