Doing a favor at any given time,
Lending them five dollars when they were only short a dime.
These are the sacrifices that should be made
So that relationships in a family will not fade.
You see there are certain things that should be done.
These things will help everyone come together as one.
Without compassion, willingness, and love,
A family can’t soar together like peaceful doves.
Lean on me when you’re not strong.
Don’t be afraid to tell them what they’re doing wrong.
Making sure that you tell them Christ is the only path to take
So that bitterness and excessive heartbreak will not create.

Are the thoughts that linger on
If one has a sudden heart attack.
But what family has to help one another understand
Is that God is the master of the whole plan.
When tragedies happen it is a time to help each other grow,
Showering each other with hugs and kisses, letting them know
That they have to be there for one another, no matter what.
Showing affection with a quick hand and a gentle touch.
The Lord created families for a reason
So that they can lift one another up in the hot and cold season.
He knew which hand was sturdy enough to hold up which heart,
And which minds were strong enough not to be torn apart.
It’s amazing the roles that God has trusted us to play.
Mothers and fathers raising young men and women day after day.
Families should try to uphold the task that God wants them to achieve,
Instead of putting one another down, start to believe,
And God’s blessing they will receive.
