" A VOICE with VISION and VICTORY for the Game of Life."

PEP TALK #1 Challenges Are Constant

"A Voice with VIsion and Victory for the Game of Life"

Life is an ongoing challenge.  Most things that come easily are not worth much.  The challenge begins with self.  We have to decide that we will win the challenge against our own self destructive attitudes, habits, failures, past experiences and present behavior.  God created us to live abundant and joyful lives (John 10:10), but we sometimes allow other people, life's circumstances, or fear to convince us that we cannot overcome the challenges with which we are confronted.

This brief PEP TALK is to encourage you to keep the faith.  Don't give up or give in to defeat.  If you feel like you are giving out of strength and faith, commit to the following play to regain your focus and confidence in God and self: (1) Pray for forgiveness and strength; (2) Find friends and teammates who will encourage you (build you up, not tear you down);(3) Break destructive habits; (4) Read the Bible and other books that will encourage and inspire; (5) Watch videos or movies of HOPE.  The above formula is designed to help you change the way you think (Rom.12:2) You can do it.  Life is great and with a little encouragement you can and willlearn to enjoy it.  Don't let challenges deter you; use them to help you see how to go over, under, around or through the challenge, becoming stronger with your every effort.  All of our experiences work together for our ultimate good. (Rom. 8:28)

"If there is no struggle (challenge), there is no progress."

Frederick Douglas

Today's Prayer:  Lord, help me to face my challenges with great confidence that things will work out for my good and for your glory. Amen.
